Chayanne, Trevi and Calle13 to light up region

Entertainers to perform this weekend

Latin American entertainment will reign this weekend when Chayanne, Gloria Trevi and Calle 13 pay a visit.

In what's the close of the major concert season, these three giants of their genres will share their music with fans from both sides of the border.

Puerto Rican pop star Chayanne brings his warm smile and hot moves to Tijuana's Estadio Caliente

on Wednesday night. The local concert is part of "Nothing is Impossible" tour, which has taken him to 26 countries.

The eclectic Puerto Rican band Calle13 bring its irreverence and social themes to 4th and B in San Diego on Thursday night. Stepbrothers René Pérez and Eduardo José Cabra and their family will perform such favorites as "No hay nadie como tú," "Baile de los pobres," "Electro en movimiento" and "Muerte en Hawaii," among others.

Controversial Mexican singer Gloria Trevi brings her show to Baja California's famed wine country on Saturday as part of her "Gloria" tour. She's developed a loyal fan base despite being jailed for several years. She's known for costume changes and for getting close to "the common people."
