The government of Baja California, led by Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, delivered 14 new police trucks to the 7th municipality of Baja California in an effort to strengthen the security of the people of San Felipe.
These vehicles were delivered by the Secretariat of Municipal Public Security thanks to an investment from federal resources managed through the Fund for the Strengthening of Public Security Institutions (FOFISP) with the amount reaching over 20 million pesos, the governor said.
These new units are proof of the commitment and coordination of the three levels of government to speed up preventive work and efficiency of security operations, which contributes to the peace of families and visitors of San Felipe, she added.
Ávila Olmeda pointed out that providing peaceful and safe environments for Baja Californians is a priority, which is why since the beginning of her administration inequality and lack of opportunity conditions are being dealt with comprehensively.
Always prioritizing the wellbeing of those who require it the most, the management carried out to obtain resources from FOFISP will also be applied to other municipalities of Baja California in accordance with the government promise of benefiting those who need it the most.
