The American Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has published a list showing the countries where travel is not recommended due to increases in Covid-19 cases worldwide. Mexico is among these countries where travel is not recommended under any circumstances.
The interactive map was updated in its webpage where one can select the country or specific region of the world to know the level and status according to the CDC. When selecting Mexico, the following message appears:
The CDC stated that any traveler that enters Mexico must make sure to be completely vaccinated against Covid-19, as the best way to protect themselves. They also added that being vaccinated won’t ensure the traveler won’t be infected, which is why they also recommend anyone older than two years of age wear a mask in public spaces. One must also follow the requirements and recommendations made by the Mexican government.
