Baja Californians awaiting their second dose of Sinovac will be able to get it on Sunday, informed the Secretary of Health, Alonso Pérez Rico.
A shipment with 4 thousand doses of this vaccine is expected to arrive tomorrow afternoon in the state, which will be destined for Tijuana, Mexicali and Ensenada.
In spite of the fact that some people may have already exceeded the time limit to receive their second dose (28 to 35 days), Pérez Rico said:
"The recommendation of the Mexican government is that they apply their second dose and they will have the complete vaccination scheme and will have the effectiveness."
Although they did not confirm the vaccination points, they will be able to do so once the vaccine is in the territory, as the agency has stated on other occasions.
Currently 78% of the population in Baja California has completed its vaccination scheme.
