Libertad among the 11 neighborhoods with more active cases by COVID-19 in Tijuana

Of the 358 active cases in Baja California, 257 are recovering at home.

Although Tijuana does not concentrate many active COVID-19 cases, compared to Mexicali, it is the municipality with the second highest number of active cases.

As of Monday, there are a total of 358 active cases in Baja California, of which 246 are in Mexicali, 86 in Tijuana, 15 in Ensenada, five in San Felipe, three in Tecate, two in Rosarito and one in San Quintín.

According to the Secretary of Health, Alonso Pérez Rico, 63 are hospitalized, and 38 more are in a health unit but needing a ventilator, while the remaining 257 are recovering at home.

This is why the following are the neighborhoods where these last active cases are accumulating, and where prevention measures should be reinforced before the COVID-19, according to what was informed by the head of this dependency.

-Tijuana: Villa del Prado 2nd Section, Maclovio Rojas, Real de San Francisco, Montes Olímpicos, El Florido 2nd Section, Buenos Aires Sur, Chihuahua, Libertad, Los Espacoles, Camino Verde and Playas Diamante.
-Mexicali: Second Section, Industrial, Pro Hogar, Benito Juárez, Quinta del Rey and Valle del Pedregal.
-Valle de Mexicali: Yucatan, Benito Juarez, Nuevo Leon, Delta Oaxaca, Sonora and Guadalupe Victoria.
-San Felipe: Los Arcos and Primera Sección San Felipe.
-Ensenada: Nuevo Milenio, Popular Emiliano Zapata, Revolución Careaga, Hidalgo, Popular 1989, Acapulco, Villa del Real 2nd Section and Playas de Chapultepec.
-San Quintín: Rancho Contento.
