From one North to the other : Entijuanarte 2012

A blend of arts from all over Mexico celebrates Nuevo León as a guest state

Tijuana has been characterized for many things, one of them being its fervent cultural movement, an icon of which will repeat itself from October 5 to 7: Entijuanarte.

With Nuevo León as a guest, the cultural festival will bring a cumulus of surprises, a talent that is sure to delight and a musical party that will have even the stiffest of muscles dancing.

There are over 200 Regios invited that will come along with a suitcase full of creations, an approach to visual dialog and a romance that transforms in unique pieces ready to be admired.

This multidisciplinary encounter bets on culture as a lifestyle; just eight years after its first installment, it has already become an icon of art for the city.

For the North from the North.

Nuevo León brings an explosion of the state’s art gallery heritage, a contemporary photographic program and a sample of the International Cinema Festival held in Monterrey.

But music will also be a conductor of notes to the ear with artists like Cabrito Vudú, Corazón Attack, El Gran Silencio, the accordion king Celso Piña and the accompaniment of Hiperboreal from the Nortec Collective.

Previous to the official date, there will be alternate activities in different venues of the city so those who can’t get to the Cultural Center of Tijuana (CECUT) can enjoy the exhibitions.

Entijuanarte 2012 brings together photography, sculpture, performance, painting, drawing and all that man can create to please the human eye.
