Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda has once again been named as the best governor of Mexico in a recently made poll which gave her an approval rating of almost 70%.
According to Demoscopia Digital, a public opinion poll and study agency, the governor of Baja California has been ranked #1 among the 32 governors leading the federal entities that make up the Mexican Republic.
The poll is for the month of August 2024, in which the state governor obtained an approval rating of 69.1% way above Julio Menchaca of Hidalgo; Tere Jiménez of Aguascalientes; Evelyn Salgado of Guerrero; and Víctor Castro of Baja California Sur, who are the top 5 nationwide.
Let’s remember that in the ranking of the month of July made by this agency, Ávila Olmeda had been ranked #4 with an approval rating of 68.4%, which means she climbed 3 positions in this current poll.
Marina del Pilar reaffirms commitment to education in Baja California
Yesterday, the governor reiterated her commitment to education by delivering scholarships to the student community of Universidad Tecnólogica de Tijuana (UTT) where around 2,000 new students were enrolled.
In addition, the Baja Californian governor announced the back-to-school period with the "Pancita Llena, Corazón Contento" program which supports families and schools in a vulnerable condition with breakfasts and meals for basic education students.
It should be noted that Marina del Pilar has already got in contact with the mayor-elect of Tijuana, Ismael Burgueño, to continue consolidating the "Transformation in Tijuana" through multiple programs and strategies to guarantee a quality of life in this municipality.
