Expo TlaquepArte is coming back! The most important handicraft event in Mexico comes back to Rosarito with its 10th edition

This exhibit brings together more than 200 exhibitors and artisans from Mexico and 16 other countries

Playas de Rosarito is preparing to once again become the venue of the most important handicraft event in Mexico: Expo TlaquepArte, which will hold its 10th edition from Friday, September 6 to Monday, September 9 at the Convention Center Baja California Center.

Expo TlaquepArte is a unique setting where artisans from all over the world can show off their creations and assortment of products such as handicrafts, jewels, textiles, decorations, cosmetics, gastronomy, and more.

Admission for this event will be free and it will feature more than 200 exhibitors from 25 Mexican states, including Baja California, and 16 Latin American countries including Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Cba, Guatemala, Paraguay, and Ecuador.

Exhibitors from other countries such as Turkey, Russia, Greece, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Senegal, and Egypt will also be a part of this event where they will showcase their tradition and history.

What will you find at Expo TlaquepArte 2024?

Mexican artisans are renowned for being the heirs of Mexico's pre-Hispanic traditions and techniques and through their works and designs they share our country's rich history.

This is an excellent opportunity to explore and buy some valuable pieces at Expo TlaquepArte such as Mata Ortiz pottery from Chihuahua, boxes from Olinalá, Guerrero, silver from Taxco, original clothes and leather from Jalisco, among many others.

In addition, in the gastronomic area, you'll be able to try out delicious classic Mexican dishes such as gorditas, flautas, and sopes.

Artisans from 16 countries gathered in one place

Expo TlaquepArte will also allow visitors to witness different techniques and styles from other parts of the world.

A total of 16 countries will be part of this exhibition and you will find a great variety of international products such as exotic wood from Cuba, vibrant paintings from Peru, carved wood from Ecuador, handcrafted lamps from Turkey, fresh coffee from Colombia, and costume jewelry from Turkey and Russia.

Mezcal, dried fruit, ice cream, purses, clothes, handcrafted furniture, salsas, jams, there is an assortment of exclusive and high-quality products, all in one place!

A free and family friendly event!

This 4-day event will take place from Friday, September 6 to Monday, September 9, at the Convention Center Baja California Center in Playas de Rosarito, located at Carretera Escénica Tijuana – Ensenada Ejido No.1029.

Expo TlaquepArte will be open from 10:30 AM to 7 PM, and there will be free admissions for all visitors!
