Are you a taco lover and even more so if they are birria? In this second season of Una Mordida de Tacos, chef Danny Betancourt went to a birrieria that you will surely love. It's called Buchito Birria and it's located at 22226 Rio Tijuana 3rd stage with hours from Wednesday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., except on Sundays when they close until 2:00 p.m.
Thanks to Betancourt we got to know two of the tacos that will leave you speechless because you won't be able to stop eating them once you have taken the first bite. Here we present them to you:
$70 pesos cheek chicharrón quesadilla
This is a quesadilla that has cheek chicharrón, with delicious grilled cheese on the bottom, in addition to having, per stall, birria, onion, cilantro, red sauce and double tortilla. In the chef's words "it is well saturated with flavor", although a little salty, but with lemon you can make the difference. He recommends that as it is a bit heavy it is better to eat just one and combine it with another taco or a broth.
He gave this taco a 7.3 rating.
The famous Cachetona of $75 pesos
This taco has birria and chicharrón as its main ingredient, it also has cilantro, grilled cheese, and double golden corn tortilla. Something characteristic of this taco is that it has the size of two or three tacos together. "You can see the dimension", emphasized chef Betancourt, who also pointed out that the meat is very soft.He gave this taco a rating:
