The Marina del Pilar administration, through the Secretariat of Wellbeing in the state, began economic aid program registrations for 60- to 64-year-old seniors with the promise of helping vulnerable Baja Californians and improve their quality of life.
By orders of Governor Marina del Pilar, registrations began all over the state in order to support those who have the least, following the principles of the Fourth Transformation, promoted by the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
Netzahualcóyotl Jáuregui Santillán, Secretary of Wellbeing, informed that this program is part of the 21 projects promoted by Governor Marina del Pilar that are focused on helping everyone who requires priority assistance.
"Baja California has been forged by our seniors that came here to work, sometimes as immigrants from other states. That is why Governor Marina del Pilar is putting them at the front of her public policies and we are reaching out to them with this program," he explained.
The program's goal is to boost wellbeing and improve quality of life for people ages 60 to 64 years old, providing them with a pension of 2,600 pesos for beneficiaries, which will be delivered bimonthly, Netzahualcóyotl Jáuregui stated.
The requirements are: to be a resident of Baja California, to fill out a single form, submit an original and copy of a voter's ID with photo, CURP copy, and an original and copy of proof of address no older than 3 months.
In addition, he revealed that people interested in continuing to receive this bimonthly aid must enroll every year, in order to corroborate information and make sure that they meet the requirements in order to be benefitted.
Registrations for this aid program will take place at the wellbeing delegation. You can check out their locations on the following link: https://www.bajacalifornia.gob.mx/bienestarbc/Conocenos/Contacto. In Tijuana, this registration will take place at the Institute of Sustainable Mobility (IMOS).
