In celebration of the second annual Baja California Culinary Fest, on Saturday October 13th, Club Tengo Hambre will launch with their first tour "Gourmet Meets the Streets- Tijuana Taco Outing". The collective efforts of Bill Esparza of Street Gourmet LA, Jason Thomas Fritz of Tijuanalandia, and Antonio and Kristin Diaz de Sandi of Life and Food, will be giving curated excursions of Baja California's much talked about culinary offerings.
Whether you have crossed the border one time, or even various times, these one-of-a-kind culinary experiences, will show you the side of Baja California that is near and dear to our hearts. The Tijuana taco expedition will highlight three of the city's most interesting and innovative food stands.
Price is $65 dollars per ticket and it includes:
- Transportation to and from the US-Mexico border
- A guided tour by Bill Esparza and Antonio and Kristin Diaz de Sandi
- Three stops for two different tacos at each of these locations:
- Tacos Kokopelli, Takesos y Papas, and El Mazateño
The final stop will be at Caesar's to enjoy a Q+A chat with renowned Tijuana Chef Javier Plascencia, while sipping a tamarindo tequila martini
