With the objective to promote the gastronomy of the region, from the 11th through the 14th of October the second edition of Baja Culinary Fest will take place, with the presence of local distinguished chefs plus special guests.
Once again the main characters of this festival will be the regions ingredients, which this event will take, place in Ensenada, Rosarito and Tijuana.
Just about 25 local chefs along with special guest will present their dishes with the culinary style of Baja Med, which has captured the attention of millions thanks to the recognition Baja Med has received in the international level.
About the event Marina Perez who is the director of Creativa Marketing Ad Agency, explained that in the first edition of this event the biggest focus was to expose the richness of Baja, which was a great success.
"As a result of this great effort many important chefs have came to learn and see of what Baja is about, as far as the products that are grown and use here. Also thanks to the support that the government tourist office has given to this effort." She explains as a key to the regions gastronomy big success.
In the four days of activity the best restaurants of the region will offer dinner specials, interactive activities, cooking classes along with seminars with well known chefs. This years special guest will be the state of Sinaloa, that will bring with them the best of their cuisine.
"We thought of a neighboring state of the northwest to boost the regional gastronomy, since we share the same sea and its products, like all kind of seafood and fish." Informed Luisa Balderas accounts coordinator of Creativa Marketing.
If is about promoting the region one of the advocates has been Chef Miguel Angel Guerrero owner of restaurants; La Querencia, El Taller in Tijuana and La Manzana in Guadalupe Valley, Ensenada. "The main characters of this cuisine are the products of Baja and its freshness. The fact that this product has traveled all over the world it has been a blessing to have all this different products in our peninsula," said Chef Guerrero in an interview at his restaurant La Querencia.
