The 54th Annual San Diego Bay Parade of Lights is coming back! For two evenings, all locals and tourists of this border city will be dazzled by dozens of decorated and themed Christmas boats. This year's main theme will be "Peace on Earth".
This event tends to attract more than 100,000 residents and visitors to San Diego Bay. Around 80 decorated boats will parade in one of the region's most emblematic events. For the 6th time, the parade will be going to César Chávez Park before turning towards Coronado, providing spectators another area to see this show in full detail.
This caravan can be enjoyed on December 8 and December 15, 2024. It will begin at 5:30 PM. The parade will take approximately 1 ½ hours to travel through its entire route. Here are some of the arrival times at each specific spot where it can be seen:
- Shelter Island (start of parade): 5:30 p.m.at 5:30pm
- Harbor Island: 6:15pm
- The Embarcadero: 6:45pm
- Seaport Village: 7:15pm
- The Pier at Cesar Chavez Park: 7:30pm
- Ferry Landing on Coronado: 7:45pm
