The National Weather Service alongside the Government of Mexico published the updated weather forecast a few hours ago regarding the development of cold front No. 7, which will arrive with gusts of winds of up to 100 km/hour.
Though it will begin in northwestern Mexico, it will be most prominent in the early morning of Monday, November 4, in the Sonora and Chihuahua mountains with high chances of snowfall and sleet.
In addition, it will travel through this territory to join a polar low-pressure area and polar current, causing rain in these aforementioned states and isolated showers in Baja California and Baja California Sur.
The peninsula of Baja California and Sinaloa will also experience gusts of wind from 60 to 80 km/hour, while Sonora, Chihuahua, and Durango could experience them up to 100 km/hour.
These weather conditions will cause a drop in temperatures. On Tuesday, November 5, the new cold front will spread throughout northern and northeastern Mexico, keeping temperatures low and strong gusts of wind active in the aforementioned regions.
