The first winter storm in Tijuana could show up on the first weekend of November, claimed Civil Protection authorities on Monday, October 28.
Everything seems to suggest that the sun is slowly leaving the city alone. This morning, the Municipal Director of Civil Protection in Tijuana, José Luis Jiménez González, presented a report about the city's current situation regarding Civil Protection matters. Though there's no cause for alarm, one should take preventive measures to prepare for possible weather emergencies.
According to information revealed, the first winter storm could hit Tijuana, which is why a Civil Protection municipal council session took place to show the prevention and safeguarding actions that will be carried out to protect the community from these cold temperatures.
Jiménez González stated that this possible storm is being monitored to determine what kind of impact it could have in the city. Preparations are taking place and people are being warned in case of significant impact.
He also stated that the Santa Ana wind season will take place in November 2024 and rainy season from November 24, 2024 to April 25, 2025.
