This natural wonder receives more than 2.5 million visitors each year and is located in the peninsula of Baja California

Celebrating "Bufadora Day", which took place last September 18, let's remember this impressive tourist attraction that, every year, welcomes at least 2.5 million visitors who also benefit Baja California with an important economic revenue.

According to the mayor of Ensenada, Carlos Ibarra Aguilar, based on information by the Trust, around 390,000 vehicles have reached this natural wonder this year, alongside more than 300 cruises who also arrive here full of tourists ready to admire this gem.

With just this one activity, the resulting economic revenue reaches $35 dollars per tourist, and though there are many different factors involved, the definitive number reaches more than $87,500,000 dollars every year.

With around 2.5 million visitors per year, an average of 6,800 per day, La Bufadora has become one of Baja California's most visited tourist destinations by both national and foreign tourists.

In addition, it should be noted that La Bufadora is considered the 2nd biggest natural attraction in the world as it shoots water more than 18 meters up in the air, and it is located only 28 kilometers south of Ensenada.
