California has several theme parks full of amazing rides, roller coasters, iconic characters, and more, but sometimes things can change and cause sadness in people who frequently visit them.
What is known about the definitive closure of Knott's Berry Farm?
This park located in Buena Park, California, is considered the first theme park in America. It was inaugurated in 1920 as a berry farm managed by the Knott family and in 1940, they added areas for rides. In 1970, they officially became a theme park.
On social media, people speculated that this iconic park would close its doors definitively after their classic "Knott's Scary Farm" celebration in October. However, this is not true.
What will actually happen is that the maze that is part of this aforementioned celebration will be, unfortunately saying goodbye officially: we are, of course, talking about Wax Works at Knott's Scary Farm.
This maze helps to immerse you in an abandoned wax museum where plastic surgeon Dr. Augustus Scratch puts victims in a cauldron full of boiling wax which he then uses to create "works of art."
Though Wax Works will come back for this 2024 edition (from September 19 to November 2),after this Halloween celebration, it will close definitively to give way to a new maze.
