Mictlán in Tijuana announces return of wonderful cempasúchil field

Learn all about this amazing place full of autumn magic

Autumn is one of the best seasons of the year due to its beautiful orange, yellow, and brown hues and the celebrations it brings, especially one of Mexico's most traditional holidays: Day of the Dead.

Mictlán will come back to Tijuana

On their Facebook page, Mictlán in Tijuana revealed the opening of their upcoming "Autumn Festival" which is coming back full of beautiful flower fields, activities, decorations, and spots for photos.

So far, the only information given is that it will be open from September 28 to November 3, but everything regarding new elements or decorations has not been revealed yet.

Last year, admission prices in workdays were $150 pesos for adults and $90 pesos for children ages 2 to 12, while on Saturdays and Sundays they were $180 pesos for adults and $100 pesos for children.

Some of the activities that this place has had throughout its seasons since its inauguration in 2020 are:

  • Cempasúchil and pumpkin trails
  • Fantasy-themed photo sets
  • Day of the Dead altars, catrinas, and mojigangas
  • Halloween pumpkin decor
  • Maize and flower labyrinth
  • Lookout
  • Pre-Hispanic and folkloric dances
  • Live music on weekends
  • Variety of food and drinks
  • Sales of handicrafts and farm products
  • Family activities
