Marina del Pilar promotes pet adoption in Baja California through "Santuario Mily"

The state governor encouraged people to give rescued kittens and puppies a home and lots of love

Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, the governor of Baja California, invited people at large to adopt a pet to give these animals a new chance in life through animal sanctuary "Mily" while also stressing her wish of soon seeing rescued puppies and kittens adopted by a family that gives them love and safety.

Governor Marina del Pilar pointed out that since she took office has prioritized protecting, respecting, and providing adequate spaces for dogs and acts who have been abused. The result of this has been the Mily Animal Sanctuary, which receives pets that have been rescued by authorities.

The governor invited people that are looking to adopt a cat or dog to come to Santuario Animal Mily as there are currently 85 tenants: 56 being dogs and 27 being cats.

To adopt them, it is necessary to show an ID, proof of address no older than 2 months old, photo of the place where the pet will be staying at, fill out a form, and pass an interview. You can begin your procedure at: https://tramites.bajacalifornia.gob.mx/adopcion_b5285fd9-6f5d-499b-85ef-8ba357158419.

The state governor said that there is a space right now for volunteers at the Mily Animal Sanctuary in several different areas, such as playing with cats and dogs. You can learn more on their Facebook page or call 686-591-6897 and 686-591-7170.
