Despite the fact that Tijuana is a city with amazing tourism zones, gastronomy, and more, we cannot be proud of the number of abandoned and abused animals this city has. Many of them, unfortunately, end up losing their lives due to lack of care.

Rescued dog in Tijuana looking for home before it is taken to dog pound

Abogados Animalistas México, on its official Facebook page, revealed a recent case that occurred in Tijuana where a pit-bull dog was rescued after reports were made regarding the bad conditions in which it lived in.

After this case was reported to the proper authorities, the dog was unchained and given food and water as its malnutrition was evident. Two days later, a search by the Regional Attorney General Office of Tijuana was carried out in order to free the dog of its suffering. However, it now needs to find a temporary or forever home.

This dog needs to find a home before it is sent to the dog pound of Animal Control Tijuana because, if it is sent there, it could be at risk of contracting some sort of disease due to its high physical deterioration, lack of health, and lack of quarantine measures.

Abogados Animalists stated on their post:

Every non-human animal deserves a chance to be loved and taken care of, to discover love after being cruelly abandoned.
