One of Tijuana's most emblematic places is Salón de Baile "La Estrella", a ballroom which will close down on Saturday, July 27, according to Lorena Santana, teacher and researcher with more than 25 years of experience.
After 45 years of providing patrons with delicious cocktails and a vibrant mood filled with salsa, norteño, and cumbia rhythms on the dancefloor, this place beloved by Tijuana natives will say farewell with one last final dancing grand night full of fun and emotions. This last dance will take place on Sixth Street in Downtown Tijuana!
Lorena Santana said goodbye to this place with an emotional message while also thanking those who did everything they could to save this space so full of history:
What will happen to the "La Estrella" space?"
So far, there is no information regarding what will happen to this property but 22 days ago, an advertisement was published on Easy Broker where Alianza Inmobiliaria offered to lease this place for $5,500 dollars.
Today will be a night to remember in Tijuana as "La Estrella" says goodbye to its loyal clients with one last celebration that promises to be unforgettable. Tijuana natives will have the opportunity to pay tribute to this iconic place that, for many years, was witness to an endless number of moments of joy, dance, and beautiful memories!
