Alleged culprit arrested for killing of Australian brothers in Ensenada

The K-9 Unit from the State Forces of Citizen Security (FESC) arrested a man who was allegedly involved in the homicide of 3 foreign tourists in Ensenada

"The Secretariat of Citizen Security of Baja California (SSCBC) and the State's Attorney General Office (FGE), due to their close communication and interinstitutional coordination, collaborated effectively to facilitate the arrest of a man allegedly involved in the homicide of 3 foreign tourists in Ensenada.

The 31-year-old detainee named Ángel Jesús "N", an Ensenada native, was arrested in Calle 02 de Noviembre in the Santo Tomás delegation, in the southern zone of this municipality.

After checking the alleged criminal's file on the Center of Control, Command, Communication, Computing, Quality, and Citizen Contact (C-5) of Baja California database, and with information shared by FGE, it was confirmed that Ángel Jesús "N" has an active court order against him for the crime of qualified homicide, under NUC number 2-1-2024-688.

That's why, without violating his rights, state authorities cuffed him and subsequently, with support from members of the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA), he was moved to the city of Ensenada, where he was handed over to the Arrest Unit of FGE.

The Secretariat of Citizen Security of Baja California (SSCBC) continues its crime prevention work through FESC patrolling rounds and with information exchange by the three levels of government and investigative authorities.
