Kwik-E-Mart, Simpsons-themed store, opens in Tijuana

After months of anticipation, the store has finally opened

At Calle 11 in Tijuana, an establishment has managed to catch passersby attention for a while. Decorated in the style of The Simpsons, the sign "Kwik-E-Mart" definitely stands out, creating great expectations for people who walk daily in the area.

After months of anticipation, the store has finally opened, offering clients a wide variety of products that had been announced on its shop windows. During our visit, San Diego Red was able to confirm a small but well-assorted selection of useful items for everyone.

What can you find at Kwik-E-Mart?

The offerings are diverse. There are coffee pods for Keurig machines, available at just $5 pesos, from several different brands such as Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts. There are also coffee pods for Nespresso coffee makers, though these are not sold individually but at competitive prices compared to other stores.

In addition, there is a complete section of cleaning products, including brands that are usually only found in the US: laundry and hand soap, wipes, sanitizers, and more.

For people interested in beauty and personal care, there are renowned products, makeup, and other tools at very affordable prices.

The store offers a wide variety of snacks such as cookies, chocolate, fries, and canned products such as ravioli and rice of different flavors. There is also a selection of teas and other delicious drinks. In addition, there is a special area for pets where one can find items such as treats and cat litter.

Where is this shop located?

As previously mentioned, the store is located at Calle 11, close to the Red Cross, in the same building where a dance conservatory is located, specifically on the ground floor.

It is recommended to bring cash to this establishment as they are currently not accepting card payments due to lack of electricity. However, once the power supply is restored, these walls full of images of The Simpsons TV show will shine once more.
