Marina del Pilar prioritizes labor conditions for government workers in Baja California

The governor signed New General Work Conditions to benefit state employees

The governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, signed the New General Work Conditions agreement for government state workers, which includes improvement to labor conditions.

The improvements announced were a 6% increase to wages, two more additional vacation days, and the establishment of the 3rd Friday of June as a holiday due to Father's Day. In addition, there was a 6% increase on aid for the basic basket and a 10% for multiple social welfare, which will improve the quality of life of Baja Californian bureaucrats.

"They are the ones who help citizens every day. They welcome them and listen to their requests and complaints, they are there when it rains, when there are hurricanes, storms, and earthquakes, they are always working to benefit Baja Californian society," she said.

For his part, the General Secretary of the Bureaucrat Union of Baja California, Guillermo Aldrete, recognized Governor Marina del Pilar for the agreements made after joint council work meetings took place in which they addressed actions to deal with the delay on labor rights left by previous administrations.

Meanwhile, the Senior Official of Baja California, David Ramsés Cervantes Aguilar, stated that the most important resource that the administration has is the people, which is why it is a priority to improve the conditions of their lives and their families.
