Xochimilco-style trajineras (gondola-like boats) will be built in Baja California Sur and will probably become an amazing tourist attraction at Heróica Mulegé. It seems that a group of tourist service providers decided to begin the construction of a trajinera to offer rides in this oasis.
Supposedly, this is the first of three trajineras that will offer rides and each one will have the name of an iconic person of the municipality of Mulegé.
It was a Facebook user named Jonathan R who shared a photo that has been making the rounds on social media. According to what he posted, these trajineras will be built in the municipality and will offer tours through the entire estuary, a round trip from under the bridge to the lighthouse.
This oasis is located in the mouth of the Mulegé River, a tropical paradise in the middle of this South Baja Californian desert. This body of water is surrounded by palm and fruit trees, a wonderful place that every visitor can learn more about even more deeply.
How to get to Heróica Mulegé from Tijuana?
There are several options to get here: you can travel from Tijuana to Loreto (a flight of 1 hour and 37 minutes) and then take a bus from Loreto to Mulegé (1 hour and 55 minutes).
Another option is to take one single bus; however, this trip will take you 18 hours and 50 minutes.
