The Municipal Administration of Tijuana, through the Agency of Inspection and Verification, suspended an illegal party with around 300 minors. It was taking place at an event room located at Colonia Anexa 20 de Noviembre, which was immediately closed after it was vacated.

A citizen report alerted municipal authorities about an ongoing party with minors who were drinking alcoholic beverages inside an establishment at La Mesa delegation.

By instructions of Mayor Montserrat Caballero Ramírez, a group of inspectors went to this social room where they found around 300 young people who were not able to demonstrate that they were adults and who were drinking alcohol.

As such, the Municipal Administration of Tijuana suspended the event and vacated the building in a safe and ordered manner, with support from two units of the Municipal Police.

An administrative certificate to penalize those responsible for this event room was also made and closure seals were placed due to them carrying out an irregularity that put Tijuana youth at risk.

There have been three suspended illegal parties in 2024, which is why the 24th Municipal Administration of Tijuana reiterates its call to the community to report these illegal events to the WhatsApp number of Dirección de Inspección y Verificación: (664) 616-3339.
