The 24th Municipal Administration of Tijuana led by Mayor Montserrat Caballero informed that the parks managed by the Municipal System of Theme Parks (SIMPATT) will remain open on Saturday, September 16 due to national holidays celebrations. This is in order to provide citizens with safe spaces so they can have healthy leisure and promote family union.
Parque Morelos and Parque de la Amistad will be open at their regular hours from 6 AM to 7 PM. In addition, kiosks will be available for rent for family events.
To benefit families in Tijuana, the Unit for the Management and Conservation of Wildlife will be open from 11 AM to 3 PM.
"Our goal is that citizens today have safe areas where they can spend time with their families and enjoy nature," the person in charge of this agency, Edgar Javier Inzunza López, stated.
The Secretariat of Wellbeing of Tijuana encourages visitors to place their trash where it belongs and to correctly use facilities, because parks are for everyone.
