The governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar, has distinguished herself in the latest studies by CE Research as one of the best rated governors by her citizens. These studies, which cover the month of July 2023, focused on measuring the approval, trust, and insecurity perceived by people about the governors of Mexican states.

Marina del Pilar has been ranked third place nationwide in approval ratings with 66%. She has only been bested by Samuel García, governor of Nuevo Leon through the Movimiento Ciudadano party, with an approval rating of 67%, and Mauricio Vila Dosal, governor of Yucatan with PAN, with an approval rating of 68%.

The methodology used to gather data was through 19,200 phone calls, for each state of Mexico with CE Research evaluating security, health, work carried out to deal with poverty, job creation, state finances management, and governor’s capabilities.

These good poll results are not a surprise, as the Marina del Pilar government has stood out because of its commitment in safeguarding the health of Baja Californians. An example of this is its successful children’s vaccination program that has benefited 146,680 children in several municipalities of the state.

In addition, an investment of 150 million dollars by four foreign companies in the state has been announced, demonstrating the good economic moment that is being experienced by her leadership. The governor highlighted the role of universities on this achievement and underscored the importance of continuing working alongside private enterprise to maintain the state’s economic boost.

Marina del Pilar has managed to win her people’s approval ratings thanks to her commitment in different areas and her administration has consolidated itself as a positive symbol of Mexican politics.
