The arrival of spring in Tijuana hasn’t meant the end of cold and windy weather, as the city is still experiencing these conditions in the mornings and evenings; the sky is partially cloudy during most days.
In addition, it is expected that the region experiences rain and frost Thursday morning and this afternoon, especially in mountainous areas. On their social media pages, the Civil Protection Agency of Baja California has issued a warning about potential rain or light showers in several areas of the region including Tijuana, Tecate, Playas de Rosarito, Ensenada, and San Quintín.
Cold front #48 is approaching and it is expected that it has an important impact in the next few hours. It is forecasted that Baja California and Sonora will be particularly affected by this cold front, as it is expected temperatures to considerably drop in this area.
Temperature drops are also expected in all of Baja California and strong winds are forecasted for La Rumorosa, which could reach 60 km/h and 50 km/h in Mexicali. This is why, authorities are recommending residents to decrease their mobility.
