State Forces seize 26 kilos of methamphetamines and arrest the alleged perpetrator

After a preventive inspection was carried out inside a car, a plastic bag with a substance similar to methamphetamines was found weighing approximately 1.3 kilograms

The State Forces of Citizen Security arrested an individual in possession of more than 26 kilos of methamphetamines who was driving a Honda Accord close to Colonia Los Venados Oeste, in the city of Tijuana.

It was on Simón Bolívar Boulevard, near the corner with Calle Ciervo, where state agents stopped the individual later identified as 33-year-old Leobardo “N”, a Sinaloa native who was driving a Honda vehicle with plate number 075471.

After a preventive inspection was carried out inside the car, a plastic bag with a substance similar to methamphetamine was found weighing approximately 1.3 kilograms. Another bag with the same substance divided into 54 bags was also found with an approximate weight of 26 kilograms.

This is why the individual was immediately arrested, his rights were read, and he was turned over to the appropriate authorities which will determine his legal situation and carry out their respective functions.

With these actions, SSCBC reaffirms its commitment with all people, maintaining preventive operations permanently to remove all substances from the streets that could harm the health and social environment of our youth.
