Ports of entry into San Diego are places where several strange occurrences can happen from scam attempts to violence, and let’s not forget “gaviotas” (line-cutters) who cut in line at the front, getting in the way of users who have been honestly and decently in line for hours.

Something like this happened on Tuesday evening, though a little more violent: it turns out that at the San Ysidro port of entry, some “gaviotas” forced their way through to the front of the line and also hit a car.

On this occasion, it was an escort who got in the way of the affected car so that their boss could get in line, saving up hours of time, which is usually what it takes users to cross into the American side.

This has made several people ask: where are the authorities and the supposed filter that was installed a few weeks ago at this port of entry?
