Cyclist traveling from Uruguay to Alaska pedals his way into Tijuana

In total, he has traveled through 15 countries and more than 18,500 miles

Cyclist Tabaré Alonso departed from his native Uruguay with only one goal: to reach Alaska by bike. Thanks to this trip he has visited many countries and cities. Just a little while ago, he reached La Rumorosa, and he highlighted the “beautiful experience” of traveling through the town of Tecate.

In addition, he shared that yesterday he said goodbye to the city of Tijuana, where he toured downtown streets as well as Cerro Colorado, where he dined with the beautiful city view at the place where the swing used to be.

“Staying at the VIP area of TIJUANA. Downtown Tijuana and spiritual delight. Almost 2 million inhabitants and a city that is growing incredibly quickly! Magical afternoons at the top of Cerro Colorado,” he said on his official Facebook account page.

He also shared that Tijuana is a city of contrasts and that is what makes it so beautiful: “Thanks to all the people who came to say hi! Welcome to the world’s largest door! #tijuana all these contrasts make it beautiful”.

Tabaré Alonso said goodbye to Tijuana and will continue his trip to San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and all across the United States until he arrives in New York. The cyclist left Uruguay in 2016 and since then he hasn’t stopped visiting and discovering several places that have left an impression on him. In total, he has traveled through 15 countries and more than 18,500 miles.
