The Municipal Department of Firefighters revealed that on Thursday, November 10, they found the body of a man at Cañón del Matadero (Matadero Canyon) in the city of Tijuana.

At first, it was unknown whether it was Hugo Miranda, the 22-year-old man who was swept away by water currents along with his sister last Tuesday, November 8. The State Attorney General Office’s specialists arrived in the area to collect the body and have it be identified by family members.

A few minutes ago, Alejandra Guerra revealed that the parents of Hugo and Rebeca confirmed that it was their son’s body. The search was carried out in Cañón del Matadero because the young man’s cellphone was emitting a signal in this area.

The body of his sister, Rebeca, was found yesterday, Thursday, November 9, 2022, at the Rosas Magallón stream. Recently, it was revealed that Hugo was able to get out of the car with help from a neighbor, however, he came back when he realized that his sister wasn’t able to get out of the car.
