The governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda continues to distinguish herself as one of the most popular state leaders in Mexico. In fact, according to pollster Massive Caller she is the only female MORENA governor that is currently in the Top 10 high approval ratings list.
She leads the Top 10 alongside the governor of Coahuila, Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solis of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), followed by the governor of Queretaro, Mauricio Kuri of the National Action Party (PAN).
When it comes to approval ratings, Marina del Pilar has a 52.35% approval rating. That’s not all, however, as she is also in the Top 5 of trust perception list which means that, according to the 41.2% of people polled, they trust the governor. She is the only MORENA governor to be part of both lists.
On the other hand, Ávila Olmeda is the only female governor of Mexico with these high rankings. In fact, in the Top 10 list, she is the only woman, while in the Top 5 trust perception list, she is the only woman besides Tlaxcala governor, Lorena Cuéllar.
