Two people arrested on Agua Caliente Boulevard for possession of firearms

This arrest was carried out by officers of the Citizen Security State Forces (FESC)

During an operational deployment in Tijuana that aims to prevent crimes in the city, two people driving a sedan vehicle were arrested. Officers part of the Citizen Security State Forces (FESC) discovered that among their belongings they had a firearm.

This arrest took place on Agua Caliente Boulevard, between Francisco I. Madero and Abraham González Avenues, after state officers observed a gray Honda, which was being driven by a man and a woman. They ordered them to stop after noticing suspicious behavior, since they tried to avoid the corporation’s units.

When detained, the suspects were identified as Carlos David “N” and Reina Kassandra “N”, both 29 years old, who were then subjected to a vehicle inspection. There, the agents found a firearm with eight bullets, and the suspects were unable to show any paperwork that allowed them to carry it.

Due to this, both people were arrested by FESC and presented before the corresponding authorities, who will investigate and likely charge them with the crime of possession of firearms.

These actions are a result of continuous and permanent work by the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Baja California (SSCBC), whose goal is to safeguard peace and tranquility for everyone in Baja California.
