Illegal crossings from Tijuana to the United States are a topic that has been going on for several years. People known as “coyotes” are hired for those looking for the American Dream to get into the country by any means necessary. They do so by going through the desert, secret tunnels, or one of the most recent ones, which is hiding inside strangers’ car trunks.

An anonymous person got in contact exclusively with sandiegored.com to tell us the story of how he was a victim of trying to illegally cross a person. This person crosses daily to the US. He gets up approximately at 4 AM and, as a security measure, before traveling he checks his car trunk, because a coworker had once found two people in his car one time he had crossed into the US.

One of these days in which he was carrying out his daily routine, one of his biggest fears came true. Two 30-year-old men were inside his trunk. Despite screaming for help, none of his neighbors came out to help him and both men ran out of the car and were followed by a truck who was apparently “looking out for them” from a corner.

Despite the scare, this person did not report this to the authorities. He went to work, and after his shift was over, he came back and took his car to the shop to make sure it didn’t have any GPS device. They assured him it didn’t have any. Despite this, at night and while at the gym, one of his colleagues told him that there was someone under his car with the trunk open, confirming his biggest fear that he was being followed and tracked.

He claims that he doesn’t know when they started to follow him and learn that he was crossing daily, his schedule, locations, and most frequented places. This is why he decided to stay in the US for a while. Currently, there are surveillance cameras being set up in his home and though he is not going to report it to the authorities, he did tell this to a police officer of his area. The officer told him that he should check his car but that “he didn’t think it would happen again because his car had already been discovered and it wasn’t going to work anymore.”

This person is advising people who are crossing to the US to frequently check their trunks, under their cars, or any area where someone could be hidden. It takes less than five minutes and could save everyone a big scare and problems with American authorities.
