Through the Department of International Linking at the State Force of Citizen Security (FESC) organization, an internal and field investigation was launched which concluded with the man being identified as Michael “N”, a 34-year-old California native, who was hiding in the city of Tijuana, Baja California.
According to information by U.S. Marshals authorities, an arrest warrant was issued for this man for sexually abusing minors, which has been active in the United States
The location and capture of Michael “N” took place on Sixth Street between Revolución and Constitución Avenues at Colonia Zona Centro in Tijuana. Subsequently, INM said that the deportation process had been initiated so as to turn him over to US authorities.
It should be noted that for this capture to be successful, the relation and coordinated work between authorities from both sides of the border was important.
SSCBC continues to work on prevention issues through FESC, carrying out daily surveillance tours that are still delivering good results for the public, with the goal of recovering peace in Baja California’s streets.
