Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, Baja Californian governor, led the “Con El Corazón por Delante” campaign which took place at La Lomita field located in Tijuana’s Villa Fontana community, where state government services were brought to the local population.
Along with members of her administration, federal officials and state congress officials, the governor expressed her joy at carrying out once again social assistance campaigns, especially two days away from Mother’s Day.
In her speech, Marina del Pilar said that the Fourth Transformation and her government always prioritizes those who need the most, handling the historical demand that everyone has the wellness that they need.
Because of this, the governor called on other people to approach state authorities so they can get their needs fulfilled, since the number one priority is to resolve the problems that are affecting communities at large.
Through the Secretariat of Social Wellness and Integration, Governor Marina del Pilar delivered several kinds of aid to people present, from health-related aid such as wheelchairs and hearing aids to economic aid such as gas vouches. She also gave gifts to those who attended the event to listen to her speech.
At this campaign event the following people were present: Secretary of Health, José Adrián Medina Amarillas; Secretary of Education, Gerardo Arturo Solís Benavides; Secretary of the Interior, Catalino Zavala Márquez; Secretary of Fishing and Aquaculture, Rosa García Juárez, Secretary of Gender Inclusion and Equality, Miriam Cano Núñez; Secretary of Social Wellness and Integration, Netzahualcóyotl Jáuregui Santillán, and INDIVI Director, Saúl Osnaya.
Meanwhile from Congress, Representative Irma Andazola was present, and from the legislative state body, representatives Araceli Geraldo and Julio César Vázquez were also present. At the event, Mexican Government Delegate, Jesús Alejandro Ruiz Uribe and special guests were present as well.
