A binational cycling path might be built-in Tijuana for all cyclists, according to Javier Delgado Garibay, Secretary of Sustainable Urban Mobility, who revealed the plan during a news conference on Monday.
The chairman of the agency said that the analysis is already in place and that it was delivered through a working group with the US and numerous cycling groups, with this being the first binational bicycle lane with an integration of the US with the border entrance.
A 5.5-kilometer bike route to move, not run, traverses the Chaparral Bridge, the clock, the revu, and fourth, descends to Paseo Nios Héroes, and crosses the Paseo Centenario to reach the international gatehouse's main street, described.
The project features many vertices, such as the border bridge, which will have two automotive lanes, two cycling lanes, and one pedestrian lane, with the parts varying based on the location.
Garita Otay II is set to open in Tijuana in 2024.
