They have confirmed that they will resume face-to-face classes in January 2022 in Baja, California

The Ministry of Education made the announcement in an official release

Following almost two years of distance classes to protect students, instructors, and the community in general from the epidemic caused by Covid-19, the Secretary of Education in Baja California stated that on January 4, the state will resume complete face-to-face lessons.

The secretary of education, Gerardo Arturo Sols Benavides, declared this and addressed delegates, state directors, heads of level, coordinators, leaders of the sector, inspectors, and directors of schools to prepare these weeks for the return to face-to-face lessons.

He said in a statement that "a total return to basic education would be required as of January 4, 2022" under the educational strategy of "Together We Open the Schools."

As stated at the outset, the return to face-to-face sessions must be voluntary, orderly, progressive, and safe for the student, with crowds in schools avoided and admission, recess, and leave times coordinated.

According to the agency, face-to-face sessions will be offered on alternating days from Monday through Thursday, with Fridays reserved for students who have experienced educational lag due to distance learning.
