This Monday, vaccination against COVID-19 began for Baja Californians between 12 and 17 years of age who have comorbidities and will be applied exclusively to those minors who were summoned to receive the first dose of the vaccine against the lethal virus.
The head of the Secretariat of Health, Alonso Pérez Rico clarified that only those under 17 years of age who were called by the agency to receive the vaccine against COVID-19 will be immunized because they belong to vulnerable groups, and clarified that those minors who go to the vaccination sites will not receive the dose because they must be registered in the platform.
To date, 350 minors infected by coronavirus belonging to this age range and who have comorbidities have been registered, and he urged the public to continue complying with the sanitary norms against the lethal virus.
During a press conference, he pointed out that 14 thousand and 40 minors will be immunized in Baja California, who will be administered the Pfizer vaccine.
Finally, he reminded that the vaccination sites will not be published due to the fact that it is not an open invitation and it is only by call.
