Are you allowed to cross the U.S.-Mexico border? The Consulate General of Mexico in San Diego has just informed us that this Saturday, October 2, there will be an extraordinary day to process passports, matricula consular and voter registration cards.
The decision to create this type of event has been made to meet the growing demand of the Mexican community in the United States that needs to process their documents during non-business hours.
What do you need in order to process your paperwork? It is very simple, the only thing you have to do is to schedule an appointment, in fact, this is essential and you can do it through Mexitel's website or call 1-877-639-4835. You can also visit the consulate for more information.
If you are from San Diego, the consulate is located at 1549 India St, San Diego, CA 92101 and is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. If you do not reside in San Diego, the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs has provided this link through which you can see the address of the rest of the Mexican consulates located in the United States.
