During the daily COVID-19 report shared by the State Secretary of Health, Alonso Pérez Rico, it was revealed through different statistics that the municipality of Mexicali is the one that currently has the highest number of active cases in the entire state of Baja California, gaining 59 new positive cases.

According to Pérez Rico, this municipality has maintained the number of active cases of COVID-19 on the same scale for more than a month, stressing the importance of continuing to take precautionary health measures to ensure that this trend decreases and cases are reduced as days go by.

As a consequence of being the municipality with the highest number of active cases, it is also at the top of the Incidence Rate of Active Cases (per 100 thousand inhabitants) with 40.13.

Despite this, no municipality is exempt from increasing cases so it is important that no matter where you are, do not let your guard down and take care of yourself and others.
