News has reached the Bajio newspapers and it was reported that a VivaAerobus airline plane made an emergency landing.
This was due to a fire in one of the aircraft's turbines, which was on its way from Del Bajio International Airport to General Abelardo L. Rodriguez International Airport, located in Tijuana.
According to a brief video that was shared on social media by one of the passengers, you can see how the turbine started shooting sparks as soon as it took off from the airport.
This happened around 7:40 a.m., according to local media. They also reported that the plane was covering flight VB 5029 with route Leon-Tijuana and had 172 people on board.
So far VivaAerobus has not issued any statement and the information that has been shared has been through passengers and local Bajio media.
