One million doses of Sinovac arrive in Mexico

On Saturday morning, July 10, one million doses of the Chinese vaccine Sinovac arrived at Mexico City's International Airport (AICM).

The 14th shipment of Sinovac arrived at AICM Terminal 1 from Beijing International Airport, China. With this batch, a total of 3 million doses of the pharmaceutical company's vaccine have arrived in Mexico this week.

With today's arrival, Mexico has received 6 million 46 thousand 390 vaccines this week from four different pharmaceutical companies: Pfizer, Cansino, AstraZeneca and Sinovac.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the country has received 66 million 683 thousand 885 doses from different pharmaceutical companies; the national goal is to reach 70 million vaccines.

Of these 66 million vaccines, 22 million 182 thousand 225 doses have been from Pfizer, 22 million 41 thousand 600 from AstraZeneca, 12 million from Sinovac, 5 million 10 thousand 60 from Cansino, 4 million 100 thousand from Sputnik and 1 million 350 thousand from Janssen.

In total, 50 million 362 thousand 218 vaccines against COVID-19 have been applied in the country.
