When does the visa fee expire in the United States?

U.S. authorities clarify doubts regarding this situation in light of the COVID-19 pandemic

The U.S. Consulate General in Tijuana stated that given the current conditions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, its routine operations continue to be suspended.

But what will happen to those who applied for a visa, paid for it, and the same payment is about to expire? According to the Consulate, the validity of your payment, also known as MRV, will be extended until September 30, 2022.

So if you are one of the people in this situation, and you are still waiting to schedule an appointment for an interview, the consular authorities mentioned that once the situation improves they will resume their services.

For the time being, they invited those interested to keep updated on their operations and services on their website. Click [url=https://mx.usembassy.gov/es/visas-es/]here.
