The chaos generated by the COVID-19 pandemic that has changed everyone's lives could be over (at last) in a couple of months.
The statement was made by a team of analysts from the J.P. Morgan company, who estimated that given the current vaccination schedule, this would represent a notable decrease in infections between the next 40 and 70 days.
Recall that the largest number of hospitalizations, about 85%, are people over 65 years of age, so vaccinating this group represents a considerable impact in the fight against COVID, compared to younger people.
In this scenario, there is a problem with the outlook, since this analysis considers that there would be no delays in vaccinations; nor does it take into account regional differences in demographics, socioeconomic level, supply of medicines and geography.
Finally, the economic crisis will continue much longer than the pandemic. Despite this, analysts are optimistic about the future of the assets most sensitive to a post-pandemic recovery and advised to use short-term pessimism as an opportunity to obtain affordable assets.
