The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that there will be adjustments in the prices of various immigration procedures in order to recover the cost of the services they offer. There will be increases and discounts on the most popular procedures.
The new fees will take effect on October 2, 2020. It is worth mentioning that some procedures have increased their price a lot and here we tell you what they are, you will probably be surprised how much they will increase.
- Application 1-881 for Suspension of Deportation: Will increase from $285 to $1,810
- Form -93 to apply for the Migratory Pardon to be able to apply for a visa or passport: It will increase from 585 dollars to 2 thousand 790 dollars.
- Form I-212 to apply for admission after being deported or having a visa withheld: It will increase from $930 to $1,050
- Form I-589 to apply for asylum: This form went from free to cost $50.
