On Monday, the U.S. Border Patrol, known as CBP, announced that San Diego firefighters rescued two women trapped on top of a 30-foot high border wall. In the early hours of Sunday in Otay Mesa, one of the men fell from the structure.
Agents encountered four Mexicans, two men and two women climbing the secondary border wall west of the port of Otay Mesa at about 2 a.m.
San Diego Fire Department officials had to help the women climb down from the top of the wall because they could not climb down by themselves.
It was reported that one of the two men fell off the wall and was taken to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
