The state of Baja California remains under a red light by state order so only essential activities are allowed but this seems to matter less and less as these last weeks many bars in the state have started to reopen with the 'restaurant-bar' twist.

The famous Papas & Beer located in Playas de Rosarito has given us something to talk about again in the midst of the pandemic, this time it was announced that the bar has been given a permit by the authorities to hold a massive musical event that will last three days.

According to the report one thousand 500 people are expected to attend. The event will be held on September 3, 4 and 5, during Labor Day weekend in the United States for which they already have permission from the Department of Economy, Health and the State Commission for the Prevention of Health Risks (Coepris).

In the daily conference on the course of the coronavirus in the state, Dr. Alonso Perez Rico declared that they are inspecting the sanitary measures that will be taken to be able to carry out this great event, if these comply with the necessary sanitary measures and protocols the event can be carried out.

For the moment the type of test performed on those attending the massive musical event, which will be held within the framework of Labor Day in the United States where a large influx of tourists is expected, has not been explained.

What they did make clear is that the tests to enter the reggaeton event will be paid by the attendees.

In addition, it will be Coepris who will carry out the surveillance of sanitary and hygiene protocols in the place.
